para um lugar só de amor onde poderei ousar
ser poeta e mulher sem ninguém me estranhar
num lugar onde não cabem arrogância e poder
ao resto de mim que ficar não importa o acontecer
não será meu sequer será resto a fecundar
o chão donde há-de nascer nova vida a luzir
o eu que sou há-de estar num cosmos a acordar
sem ninguém me censurar o ser poeta e mulher!

y que al final me guiará muy distante del dolor
hacia el reino del amor donde al fin me atreveré
a ser poeta y mujer sin que ninguno me extrañe
un lugar donde no caben ni arrogancia ni poder
y a lo que de mí va a quedar no importa lo que suceda
pues eso no seré yo será un resto que fecunda
el suelo para dar más nueva vida y nueva luz
lo que yo soy ha de estar en el cosmos despertando
